This gun was developed from the Maxim 37mm/30.  It fires rouned from a 100-round belt at a practical firing rate of 100 rounds/minute.  It has been adopted as the primary light antiaircraft gun for the Russian Federation Navy.  Presently (1921), it is available in single and dual mounts with a 25mm gun shield.  A quadruple mount is under development at the Oboukhov Factory in Petrograd.
